According to analysts of the agro-industrial complex of the Rostov region, from January 1 to September 1 of this year, the production of meat products in the region significantly slowed down. We are talking about a decrease in indicators by thirty-nine and a half percent, when compared with the same period last year, 2018.
Such information was shared with the public by representatives of the press service of the territorial body of the Federal State Statistics Service in the Rostov Region.
The department also emphasizes that in the first eight months of this year, the region’s butchers managed to send one hundred and seventy-two thousand three hundred tons of poultry and livestock to live weight for sale. In this case we are talking about production at facilities of various categories of management.
In addition, it was estimated that during the reporting period, Rostov stock-breeders placed seven hundred forty-four thousand seven hundred tons of milk on the market. And in this case, there is reason for joy, because a year earlier the performance indicator was two tenths of a percent less.
But egg production in the Rostov region fell by eleven percent, if we compare the first eight months of 2019 with the same period of the previous year.
It will not be superfluous to note that today, in the vast expanses of the Rostov Region, a program for the development of agriculture is relevant and actions are being taken to regulate markets for farm products.
The program provides for the development of funds in the amount of forty-four billion seven hundred million rubles over the next eleven years.
