The German company Hipp, specializing in the production of baby food, did not exclude the possibility of purchasing organic wheat and rapeseed in Kazakhstan.
According to the leadership of the baby food manufacturer, the campaign showed interest in meeting its needs for organic products with Kazakhstani raw materials.
The main factor determining the interest of German producers in Kazakhstani raw materials is the significant exchange rate difference between the euro and the Kazakhstan tenge.According to the head of the company, Hipp can annually purchase from Kazakhstan about 20-30 thousand tons of organic wheat and rapeseed at a price of 350-400 euros per ton.
The history of Hipp dates back to 1890, when Joseph Hipp, a native of the German city of Gunzburg, the owner of a candle factory and a confectionery and excellent culinary, had the idea to bake biscuits, dry them and then grind them into flour, and then add milk to the resulting flour. The result was a nutritious mixture that Joseph's wife began to sell in their pastry shop, and at the beginning of the 20th century, Joseph Hippa himself began to supply other confectioners.
Over time, the confectionery turned into a small factory for the production of “ground biscuits from HIPP,” and in 1932 one of Joseph’s sons, George Hipp, had already founded his own company.
