If laboratory tests confirm the presence of bird flu in the affected flock, it is expected to create protection and surveillance zones under the law and restrictive measures in the area, ”the veterinary service said.

In Békés County, no other settlement is currently susceptible to bird flu.

Nevertheless, as a precautionary measure, all poultry owners should ensure disease control in their holdings, the minimum disease control conditions established in the national veterinary regulations, and the compulsory maintenance of poultry.
