The National Sheep Association of Great Britain (NSA) has announced the acceptance of applications from young sheep farmers to participate in two-day seminars that will be held throughout the UK.
The NSA, striving to support the future of the British sheep industry through youth, has been actively offering events and contests for young shepherds for several years as part of its Next Generation program.
As a further development of this program, new for 2019, the NSA holds a series of five two-day workshops.
The seminars will allow participants to hear the views of industry experts, inspect individual sheep farms and chat with like-minded enthusiasts, sharing their ideas and inspiration for implementation in their own business.
NSA Communications Director Katie James said: “Our two-day seminars will include conversations and advice from some key industry representatives, including leading sheep farmers and consultants, as well as leading research and supply companies. Each seminar includes an overnight stay, which provides an excellent opportunity for communication with young shepherds, as well as visits to some farms. ”
Five master classes will be held in different places and different topics will be offered on them. This means that interested participants can join at more than one training event of their choice.
