The SPM-1T garden planter developed by Ukrainian scientists at the NAAS Institute of Horticulture is highly efficient and easy to operate.
The productivity of the gardening machine is 750 seedlings / h, its working speed is 2-2.5 km / h, the width of the planting furrow is 16, and the depth is up to 35 cm, the row spacing is 2.5-4 m, the distance between trees in a row of 0.7-2 m.
It can be used not only for planting trees, but also for bush berries with a distance between plants in the row of at least 0.7 m.
In contrast to the obsolete energy-consuming units, which turned out significant volumes of soil and required powerful tractors, the new machine is distinguished by a working body in the form of a coulter with a narralnik.
He cuts and turns the soil layer, lifting it to form planting furrows, and after placing the seedling in it, returns the soil to its original place without significant movement or rotation.
With this method of forming planting furrows, the conditions for the engraftment and development of seedlings are extremely favorable.
For information, this spring in the Khmelnitsky region, the first line in Ukraine for automatic sowing of seeds of wood species was launched. It was tested on the territory of the state-owned enterprise Slavutsk Forestry. This was the first such experience in the country.
