After the first recorded case last month, an outbreak of African swine fever, this severe hemorrhagic animal disease, spread to the fourth province of the Republic of South Africa, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of the Republic of South Africa reported on Monday, May 13.
The ministry said the last outbreak was reported in the Heilbronn region of the central province of Free, after last month the disease was found in the north-west of the country, in the provinces of Mpumalang and Gauteng.
