The current week was marked by a significant event for the Ural representatives of the agricultural production sector. We are talking about a congress of farmers from different parts of the Ural Federal District, who gathered in Yekaterinburg to present their products on the basis of the expocenter of the Ninth Interregional Exhibition.

In particular, such categories of goods from local manufacturers were presented as dairy products, fresh milk, fish and seafood, and more. Guests of the exhibition responded about the event as follows: “The range is like in a large supermarket, but the prices are much more affordable!”

It is noteworthy that almost all products of the food group could be tasted before purchasing. According to Yevgeny Kuyvashev, who heads the regional administration, he personally tasted the legendary Sverdlovsk sweets before buying.

In addition to the provision of agricultural origin at the exhibition, there are also representatives of the achievements of the agro-industrial complex of the region and the country, examples of energy-saving technologies, innovative products of the food and processing industry, etc.

As noted by Nikolai Tsukanov, who was sent to the exhibition from the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation as an honored guest, today domestic farmers have a priority task - ensuring food security, as well as increasing the pace of agricultural exports.

And the agrarians of the Ural Federal District are making every effort to implement the task.
