American farmer Cody Wood will talk with British farmers on how to create a family-free business in agriculture and with little money.

With only $ 1,200 when he first started farming, Cody built several innovative and successful farming enterprises in just 10 years.

The first-generation farmer was successful mainly through collaboration with other enterprises and the use of other people's strengths to build his own experience.

It is for this reason that Cody Wood was chosen as the keynote speaker at the event, whose goal is to help novice UK farmers get into agriculture.

“My path to agriculture has proven that I need determination, leadership and a willingness to use other people's strengths to gain experience,” said Cody Wood.

The Farm Start Conference will be held in South Wales on June 4 and will be open to farmers from all over the UK. Potential farmers will gain access to financial and legal guidance and information on access to land and business models.
