The total number of vegetables harvested in 2018 is 9.43 million tons, which exceeds the data for 2017 and the two seasons before it by 133.5 thousand tons.
Recall that in 2017, Ukrainian farmers collected 9.3 million tons of vegetables. Open field vegetables accounted for 8.7 million tons, which is 94% of the total. Greenhouse vegetables produced 0.56 million tons, or 6%. At the same time, the yield of greenhouse plants was 4 times higher and amounted to 929.1 c / ha.
