June passed - the first month of salmon putin this year. And the fish farmers of the Kamchatka Territory counted their prey.

As a result of a month of active fishing, they managed to catch over six and a half thousand tons of salmon.

The sockeye salmon was especially pleased with its indicators - its share in the total catch amounted to five thousand eight hundred tons. As for the chum, its rate is two hundred and ninety-four tons. If we talk about the volumes of caught chinook salmon, then here we are talking about one hundred eighty-six tons.

It is also important to add that the catch of amateur fishermen in June 2019 totals over twenty-nine tons of fish. The lion's share of this volume is chinook salmon with an indicator of sixteen and a half tons.

It is noteworthy that representatives of the indigenous peoples of the North managed to catch over seventy one tons of salmon fish in the first summer month of this year, among which sockeye salmon (over fifty one tons) predominate.

It will not be superfluous to note that more than five tons of salmon fish were also caught, which will be used in research work. In total, during the salmon fishing season this year, fishermen of the Kamchatka Territory intend to catch at least three hundred and twenty thousand tons of salmon fish.
