In 2020, the exhibition "Dairy and Meat Industry" will receive a new development and a new focus on technology for milk production. About this - our conversation with the director of the exhibition Oksana Veligurova.
- What would be important from the past 18 years in the work of the exhibition?
- The exhibition was first held in 2002. During this period, both the industry and the exhibition have changed a lot. We have gone through these 18 years with our regular participants and sponsors. Many of them have been with us for over 10 years. For the convenience of participants and visitors, we have introduced interactive services. In preparation for the exhibition, they can go to the site, get acquainted with the list of participants, with the products that will be presented. Starting this year, the exhibition will be held under the new DairyTech brand. Our visitors will be able to evaluate the whole range of equipment, technologies and materials for the production of milk and dairy products and select the necessary products for subsequent purchases.
This year we will be waiting for our visitors at Crocus Expo from February 18 to 21. The exhibition will bring together over 210 leading Russian and international manufacturers and distributors from 12 countries: France, Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, Poland, China, Turkey, etc. More than 60 new companies, manufacturers and suppliers from Germany, Denmark, France, Italy and Russia will present equipment for the production of dairy products and cheeses, lines for bottling and packaging of dairy products, as well as components and materials for the dairy industry.
- What caused such changes in exposure?
- After the Dairy and Meat Industry 2019, we traditionally turned to the results of our visitors' research, market analysis and gathered the opinions of leading industry experts. The industry needs an exhibition that will present the full technological cycle of industrial milk processing to meet the need for equipment, technologies, high-quality and modern materials. This will help ensure a high production rate and increase the quality of milk and dairy products: from primary processing to finished packaging. The exhibition’s concept has focused on introducing the full technological cycle of industrial milk processing - from primary processing of raw materials to production of finished products. Manufacturing companies will be able to present, and companies involved in milk processing and the production of finished products will be able to choose and purchase equipment from a wide range presented at the exhibition.
- What is now included in the sections of the DairyTech exhibition?
- The exposition is segmented into product categories, in which hundreds of presentations, new products and special offers from manufacturers and suppliers from more than 210 companies from 12 countries, leading world and Russian manufacturers and suppliers await visitors to the DairyTech exhibition.
- Among them:
- Equipment and technologies for primary processing of milk: milking and cooling equipment, washing, disinfecting equipment and tools, equipment and technologies for determining quality, automation of the production process and more;
- Equipment and technologies for the production of dairy products: whole-dairy products, cheeses, butter, dairy concentrates, ice cream, ingredients and starter cultures;
- Packaging, filling and bottling equipment: for purification and preparation of water, bottling and corking, blowing, pasteurization and sterilization, packaging, packaging and batching, as well as finished packaging, containers, equipment for marking and labeling, weighing equipment and more.
- Many experts also note the high relevance of the business program of the exhibition. What events are planned this year?
— The events of the business program are aimed at a wide range of specialists in the dairy industry and will be held from February 18 to 20. They will be useful to managers, and purchasers, and technologists, and engineers, as well as marketers and other professionals. We pay great attention to the importance of the speakers and the relevance of the topics discussed. We are proud that Olga Abramova, Minister of Agriculture of the Udmurt Republic, will take part in the business program with a report. Three days of parallel events on the most relevant topics are waiting for visitors - an overview of global trends, a plenary session devoted to growth points, new products and technologies in the dairy industry, and a session where experts will share their experience in the Mercury system and the use of digital marking . Special attention should be paid to the plenary session devoted to healthy lifestyle and the eco-friendly trend as part of the strategy of dairy enterprises.
- In your opinion, is it worth companies from the regions to participate in capital's exhibitions if they produce material that you can’t take far? What is the point of going to the capital?
- It all depends on the goals of the company and the geography of its target audience. If we are talking about a regional dealer who works in the Far East market, then, of course, it is not advisable to go to him at a Moscow exhibition.
But if we are talking about a Russian manufacturer located in Krasnoyarsk and interested in supplying its products to all regions of Russia, then it will be at such an exhibition as DairyTech that he will be able to solve these problems. Because DairyTech enables the Russian market of manufacturers and distributors of equipment, technologies and materials for the dairy industry to simultaneously present product information to a wide professional audience and to get numerous business contacts with potential customers.
