To the members of the Federal Assembly, he proposed strengthening financial support for cultural initiatives in villages, thereby not only brightening up the free hours of hardworking farmers, but also preserving the cultural traditions of Russian nationalities.

Putin suggested focusing on the development of local history programs and projects related to folk art. The President is ready to provide financial assistance for the cultural development of villages from the budget of his own grants.

The President intends to allocate about 17 billion rubles for the construction of museums and houses of culture in villages and villages, as well as for the reconstruction of existing cultural institutions. Another six billion rubles will be allocated for the development of cultural centers in small Russian cities.
